Jugend forscht

"Jugend forscht" is a German youth competition that encourages young people to explore and present innovative scientific and technical projects.

I took part in Jugend forscht every year since the fifth grade, developed a total of 7 projects and was successful at regional and state level.

Chemkids

"Chemkids" is a competition for students that promotes self-conducted research.

I took part 8 times and was always one of the best contestants from Berlin, so I was awarded a research internship at the University of Applied Sciences in Merseburg and at the University of Mainz.

BWFS

The "Bundeswettbewerb Fremdsprachen" is a German national competition that promotes language learning and proficiency among students through the making of videos and solving of tasks.

I participated several times in the Bundeswettbewerb Fremdsprachen and won the third prize in the TEAM category.

Cafeteria

Operations Management

I was responsible for Operations Management at my school's Cafeteria for several years. This experience brought me closer to operational life and taught me how to plan and execute operations.

Student representative

As the leader of my school council, I learned in the two years I was in office how to coordinate several project groups at the same time, how to work with focus and determination and how to achieve results that are worth seeing.

Made to move communities

With a team from my school I participated in this competition. Together we developed three solutions, all addressing the challenge of mobility during Covid and having great future potential.

MEP

Model European Parliament

I participated several times in national and international sessions of the Model European Parliament, which is an international simulation of the working of the European Parliament for students aged 16–19. I learned how to draft resolution that adress global problems, work in teams and represent different political sides.
